Didnt hear it. He miss target or gk save something he shouldve scored?

He missed an open goal from 6 yards, ball played across the 6 yard box by Semenyo, Weimann ran in on back post and somehow got the ball to hit his heel and go 3 yards wide. Simple chance that may well have put the game to bed.

I'm getting some cracking co-comms from the wife today.

Weimann should've "just popped it in the goal".

Oh and 1-0 is better than not 1-0.

It's like being in the RobinsTV studio.

She should go on Mastermind.

Quick thoughts

Klose has been immense

Really marshalling the defence well

Preston are shocking

They must come at us more 2nd half surely, then again we are going well and we could get more goals yet ourselves

Klose not put a foot wrong so far, hope I've not jinxed him.

In fact, every player has played well, hats of to Massengo and Scott who are running the midfield.

What I like about us now is that we’re starting to play good, entertaining football more consistently. We’re still losing some, but the defeats are either because we are simply outclassed (Fulham) or where we probably should have won (Luton).

Much better than scraping by with poor, boring performances and wins owing more to luck than superiority - which has been the case with us for a long time.

And all of that is with a limited squad with some very obvious areas for improvement. Every reason to be optimistic about where we’re heading.

Liking Klose so far… lots of shouting and encouragement. Plus calm when on the ball… playing some lovely stuff, a second would be useful.

Plus pushing their players around in the box, not allowing himself to be pushed around.  Two 40 yard passes into the front men...passes, not hoofs.

Pring has lost concentration 3 times, once trying to run the ball out, the other two poor touches, one under his foot, the other too heavy.  Concentrate please Cam.

Chris Honour on Robinstv co-comms is spot on with his summaries.

Sun going down now, getting bloody cold here now. Hopefully the football will be just as good in the 2nd half and they are attacking the goal Infront of us after it all being down the other end. But then again we had all the play early at Luton too

Loving reading all the positive comments about our performance today.

We definitely seem to have stepped on over the last month or so and this gives us a really good platform to build on.

Sounds like I'm missing a cracker so far.

You aren’t half. Some of the interlinking up front is incredible.

I reckon Scott will find the score sheet second half.

Mortis

Hi Mortis, good to see you posting.  Hope you're well, but hope we are celebrating, not you, later!
