If you haven’t yet become addicted to this game take a look at it, it’s a very simple concept, very good fun and quite addictive! https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/

Very addictive JB, the wife are in competition to see who can complete it in the shortest moves. The best I’ve done is 3.

  • The title was changed to Wordle

Looks very similar to "word master mind", which my kids have just unearthed from somewhere in the house. Surprised that the concept wasn't patented  although you need the letters, boards and pegs, oh and obviously you can't play it on a mobile though my kids have zoom challenges with their sister.

Todays word was a good one ? The rude version is lewdlegame dot com but there are only a certain amount of naughty 5 letter words so it has limited appeal

I didnt actually know that existed ?. I was just putting rude words into the powerlanguage original game.

Just downloaded it to give it a go. First go, got it on the 3rd word. Don't worry, no daily updates or anything like that. Clever little game.

There are a few downloadable versions out there, but the game everyone seems to be playing is here: https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/

Anything else is just a clone/copy.

A tough one today.Got it in five.Is there a favourite strategy ?I start with the word "tears".

There are two types of people; those who take their green and yellow letters and stick with them. And those who use completely different letters to exhaust the field.

The first type tend to get better early wins, but risk not getting it. The second type tend to be less likely to not get it at all.
