Getting worse after the first go is interesting. When I am at my boredest I try to work out peoples opening words but can’t with yours as you aren’t one of the people who look to make progress on their first word!

Yep… I like to bank my correct guesses and narrow the field to my advantage. Worked well today!

Assuming par is 4, you lessen your chances of a triple bogey but guessing you don’t get many birdies! And certainly no eagles!

Yes. Sort of. Only I’m not overly convinced par is 4.

Par is 4 mate.  Put it this way, I’ve never got a bogey on the official one.  On the app Puzzwords, which I class as the driving range I have but then I’ve done about 100 wordles

Wife does that, loves a soduku and number puzzle things.

I took one look at that and decided " ain't got the time nor patience for it".

I wish Wordle had an average score added to it, the amount of attempts you’ve had divided by the amount of games played.

Over half my games have been 3rd guess, half of that total 4th a few 5th and just one 2nd guess but I’ve no idea where that would place me in let’s say a Fans league.

I’m confused. I thought everyone got the same puzzle every day but my wife and I had slightly different words today.

I can only suggest checking the times on your devices, or that one of you has accessed a "cached page" from yesterday?

Sorry about the source, but perhaps this answers your query.

Just as a non spoiler tip.

Theyve clearly realised yesterdays “power language” site word was made up. So if you’re on Wordle without a manual refresh, it now has yesterdays NY times word as they’ve done the correction.

So, I’m guessing if you just have PL open and don’t manually refresh (which takes you to NY times), you’ll be running one day behind from now on.

I think you missed out “well done Fordy that’s an excellent result today. You must be some player!”
