Reading at home match day thread

Asides from the goal, Klose’s been the only positive in that first half. Pring doesn’t look at the races. Very little quality from either side so far.

First half in a nutshell…..a City performance characterised by us being faltering, flat, disjointed, hesitant, nervous and being very low on confidence, quality and energy. Littered with sloppy football and mistakes. Reading look capable of hurting us on the counter-attack.

The goal for Semenyo should not distract from that being a very poor 45 minutes from us.

Hard to watch and impossible to enjoy!

First half: not as entertaining as we have been recently. Defensively looked way better (Klose in particular). Seem to be hitting long again - a tactic I thought we got away from. I don't mind it under pressure (safety first), but often no pressure and be lumped forward today. Goal was good.

It's like a who is shittest competition with us just losing out to Reading that half. Combine that with a soft ref and even though we are thankfully 1-0 up, that was pants.

i had a home and away shirt for my birthday late jan.had home shirt on earlier,went for a smoke too,mrs suggested taking shirt off so i put away shirt on that she bought me, get in antoine,away shirt is the lucky one

Awful game between 2 sides who are very bottom half. Hope for better play in the 2nd half but at least we are in front.

Totally agree. Apart from the one highlight (the goal) everything else was lowlights, losing HNM, two ****ked up short corners which failed to get a ball into the box, and in the first 43 minutes just one shot on target (Dasilva) against a 19 year old debutant goalkeeper. What odds on us keeping a clean sheet.
