Was absolutely gutted to hear the news Saturday morning

Have known Ron for many years not just through football but personally too, such sad news especially as it was a sudden passing.

He leaves behind a young daughter which is even sadder

RIP

RIP Ron, he was the midwife who delivered my best mates son (my Godson). 54 is no age at all.

Several years ago I had a ticket for WBA away but my transport let me down, so I appealed on here for a lift. Taffy messaged me straight away, a complete stranger,  picked me up from my house, and I spent a very enjoyable day in his company, chatting all things City, and midwifery, much to my surprise. A lovely chap who I spoke to often after that. So sad to hear this news. RIP .

RIP. I am sure I know him, think he was Welsh ? Always in shorts. Lovely guy.

If that is the case then I'm sure he used to be a regular contributor to OTIB and I was on a minibus he drove to Leicester City many years ago.

I'd be grateful if someone could confirm, as he was indeed a lovely chap.
