It's the reason I don't like these minutes applauses because something could easily happen on the pitch in that minute

I think that this is always one of the problems. The other is that you end up with one a game at times, and people therefore become less likely to hear they’re happening and even to partake. It’s difficult because all of these are done with best intentions but you end up with some people having less recognised applause, some with none at all, and everyone’s loss hurts.

The club did, I think, a fantastic job with the Swansea game acting as the memorial match this year and I think that is a great way of paying tribute to the reds we’ve lost - I hope it’s going to become an annual event as it was hugely affecting.

For anyone wanting to pay their last respects, Ron Lock's funeral is Friday 18th March @ 3.30 at Weston super mare crematorium and after at the Ebdon Arms pub at Wick st Lawrence,

Please if your able to wear something red as you know he was a Very patriotic Welshman and an avid Bristol City supporter,

A bit off topic, personally I would do it before the first game of the season. 

1 minutes applause, with the names of those sadly passed since the start of the previous season shown on the big screen. 

I think it's the best way to show respect to those who connect us all.

Yes, said something similar on another thread, maybe start of season and first game into new year.  The thing they did on return from covid was excellent.
