Team for Tomorrow

Never been less interested to be honest but historically these are the days we actually surprise ourselves !

I would go with this (injuries allowing)

                                                  Bentley

                                Kalas     Atkinson     Klose/Cundy

                  DaSilva                                                       Pring

                                         HNM          Williams

                                                   Scott

                                  Weimann

                                                            Semenyo

That is a decent mid Championship team - On Paper !!

Kalas is injured

4-5-1 for me, Kalas in the RWB position he played in on numerous occasions for Boro & Fulham

                      Bentley

      Kalas - Atkinson - Klose - Pring

Weimann - HNM - Scott - Williams - JD

                   Semenyo

Kalas injured according to Pearson. Think he played RB rather than RWB

Pearson as much as revealed that Kalas is out yesterday.

He isn’t going to play a back four, either.

Have a hunch we might see a first start for Cundy, he went off at a bit of a tangent with one answer & in it talked about a need for aerially dominant centre halves.

My guess is

                  Bentley

Scott Klose Cundy Atkinson Dasilva

             Williams    HNM

                      Weimann

       Martin                Semenyo

Says he's a "doubt" in the press conference.

Let's assume he does miss the game and we keep a clean sheet for the first time in ages - would you bring him straight back into the team against Barnsley on Tuesday? Again, say he misses that one too and we come away undefeated from our sortie up north, would you recall him against WBA?  Asking for a friend!

Thats the line up I’d go for as well. Cundy making his full debut.

You may have hit the nail perfectly. Although I suspect Matty James will be in the side.

Blackburn not in the best of form either but should have too much for us.

I’d imagine they will have too much for us aswell especially at home but i always live in hope ?

Without wanting to sound like a negative bastard but i am literally counting the games down untill the end of the season - its been thoroughly enjoyable IMO..!

Nigel also said he hasn't been in his best form so I doubt he would come back in.

Academic since we are unlikely to keep a clean sheet.?

We played really well at home versus them to be fair.

It was the first game we changed formation to what we have now and stopped "lumping it" I think ?

Midfield of Williams, Benarous and Bakinson, if I remember correctly ?

Really enjoyed the game and we looked really well organised and drilled.

COD even scored !!!!

If it was that back 3, I’d suggest, Cundy RCB3, Atkinson CB, Klose LCB3.  Been impressed how comfortable Klose is when he needs to move into the channels, either with the ball, or when defending / covering.

I think Scott is our best RWB too.  But I sense Pring will start LWB, and Dasilva RWB.

Tomorrow is the day I’d break the WSM up.

One game at a time Dave.  What is this clean-sheet you make reference too?

Surprised so many are going for Williams inclusion. If we go with back three it was proved in the last game that he does not seem to have the legs or nous to provide defensive cover. Even MP commented on how Bell was left exposed.

Think having him and James in the same midfield was more the problem,

Williams has done well as the holder in a MF 3 for us before.

Yet another ridiculous individual error in conceding.
