Not going to go OTT on hyperbole, but that was a very strong debut. Solid, played a man who was quicker than him very intelligently and didn’t let much past. Very good today (as were both Atkinson and Klose)

Done himself no harm there.

Very calm performance against a speed merchant. Like to see more of him, did his chances no harm of another start

Yeh, very decent for his first start. Capable player.

Indeed, hyperbole wouldn't be appropriate, but he certainly didn't look at all out of place. Decent performance I thought.

He was superb. Excellent in the tackle and can pass too. Made Khadra resort to theatrics and he was rightly booked.

some very good reviews and great start with his first 'start' as such.... but he was also really rated when on loan in L1 at Gillingham... and seems so far he's more than capable of holding his own in the Championship.

If Baker is not coming back and we keep KLOSE next season, are we sorted at the back and just really need that right hand side fixing ? proper wing back/full back.   As NP said, too much cannot be expected of TANNER as a youngster.

Is he really though similar to FLINT ?

Just a question. What do you have against BAKER not to put him in CAPITALS

City signed him from Bath so, even if he doesn’t have a long career at City,  it shows that good players are out there in non league.

and he's certainly done the loan trail. Which has no doubt added to his resilience. He's 24 now, so a good age now to settle at a club

This academy of ours is starting to turn into a bit of a conveyor belt of exciting young players.

Since COVID has struck sone really exciting players have started to break through. If this can become a regular occurrence the future is going to be incredibly bright.

How tall is he?

Tinman described him at 6'5" in commentary and he does look huge, but Wikipedia says he's 6'2" and in the post-match interview he looks roughly the same height at Bentley who is also 6'2".

Think he’s 6ft 2 but about as wide! Whereas Klose who is 6ft 4 is far less broad.

He isn’t from the Academy, he was signed from Bath City & 22 when we did so.

I stood very close to him at a night game before Xmas…he’s tall, I’d say 6’4”.

I thought I heard Tinnion say Cundy is 6 foot 6.

Jerry Gill said he was 6 foot 3 in one interview and he said he is 6 foot 4 in another. So he didnt seem to know!

I thought he looked taller than Klose and Atkinson next to him.

Whatever his height is he has looked good so far. And only 24 years of age, so very young for a centre back.

From what we have seen so far I think it would be a shame to not offer him a new deal, but lets see how he does in these remaining games.

He’s proved in a 45 v Forest and 90 v Blackburn that he something to make offering him another year (a more) a decent discussion point.  Fair play to him.  Would’ve been a shame if he’d left this summer having never pulled on a City shirt.

On a very limited sample if Pearson is looking at CBs for next year and is debating Vyner, Moore or Cundy, one of them has moved himself to the top of the pile at this point.

25 in May, got 8-10 years ahead of him.  Without getting too romantic over a guy picked up from Bath, it’s a good, cheap squad option if he continues to impress over the coming weeks.  Pearson wants aerially dominant, that’s one attribute Robbie has.  Blackburn avoided that yesterday, so we didn’t see what he can do in that respect, apart from one good corner headed away.

Well done to the medical team too.

Didn't see any of the game yesterday so can't comment on that... but Cundy instantly endeared himself to me when he threw Aaron Connolly to the floor like a ragdoll within 2 minutes of first coming on against Boro the other week

Any player that helps city become less of a soft touch is good with me, we've needed it for years

Best thing yesterday was after the match when the players came over to the fans.
Robbie Cundy was absolutely buzzing at the fact the fans were singing his name. He was loving it.
Well done young man, you deserved the accolades.

If he puts in steady performances between now and the end of the season it's a no brainer to retain Cundy as a squad player with Moore and Vyner politely told to find a club at a level they can consistently play at.................which is League 1. Harsh but true. Cundy is in a different place to both of those two......similar age but limited league experience and DESPERATE to prove himself rather than being on the "just a job" conveyor belt................which you wouldn't mind with Vyner and Moore if they were better, could concentrate for 96 minutes and didn't make a massive number of individual errors between them.
