"going for the ball" means nothing. If you don't get it and you take the player - its a foul

The contact is only as a result of the follow through of the punch, no different if 2 players were going up for a header. I suspect we would not have got the decision if that’s against Wells, Ref looking to give them something.

So if 2 players go for a 50/50 and one gets it and the other follows through and kicks the ball winner it's not a foul?
