Yeah. Bentley, Kalas, James, Weimann, Martin, Klose, Dasilva all have no history of being good Championship players.   Massengo, Scott, Semenyo aren’t all talented youngsters.  No sign of that at all.

Every player is bottom 6. Got it.

How many of the clubs in the top half of this division would swap what they currently have for any of the above? very few if any at present. The three young players are just potential at this stage and woefully inconsistent in their performances the supporters of this club massively overrate our players every season, when you actually see them in action against opposition its a reality check. This squad of players regardless of the manager will not get anywhere near the top six, Yes Pearson's been largely disappointing but each week he  invariably picks a team that's  up against better opposition and sometimes they get a result but the majority of the time they won't.

Scott and Semenyo are going to be Prem quality but they are still young lads who wouldn't look good in League Two on an off day

Players can look a lot better or worse depending on their managers ability to manage them. Look at Forest. Transformed by a new manager.

I’ve never said the players are play off quality. They aren’t. But they are better than Pearson has got them performing

HT 1-0. Really scrappy opening 25 mins, but since the goal we have been the better side. Good effort by Cundy, who has defended well too. If Martin could have steadied himself and made it 2-0 just before HT it would not have been undeserved.

......but it would have created a dangerous scoreline.

Having said that, as far as we are concerned what is not a dangerous scoreline?

Martin hits miles over the bar from 6 yards

Martin should have done better there

Or - controls a ball hit at power, despite knowing it was coming to him last minute. And gets a shot a way despite pressure from the defender. Watch it again see how good the control is, see how he has to hit earlier, and see that he actually did really well.

Yeah there was never a goal on from that as the defender was in the way and would have blocked anyything on target.

With the current squad avoiding a relegation battle is  a successful season anything better is an  exceptional season. And it looks like  the former is achieved albeit with a bit of good fortune regarding points deductions the fans need to get  realistic about where the club is  at present.

I’m completely realistic. However, the players are better than the performances they have been putting in.
