Aw, come on. He may not be anyone's favourite City manager, but he's definitely on the short list.

Probably between him and his dad for the top spot to be fair, can't be many that are shorter....

Better than the current guy, I would say

Different roles, LJ's job here was more like CF but with added overall responsibility for the squad, NP job (and I accept you didn't say NP explicitly) is more of a senior management type role trying to put in a framework for the club to work to.

I personally think you get more out of someone like LJ at the sharp end but it all falls apart eventually, with NP you get a scaled framework than achieve different goals (staying up, going up, consolidation ect) but you maybe lose getting 2 or 3 percent out of each player on a match day because he's just not as close to it.

Interesting take. Thanks

Mods, mods, Taz is being orrible to us shorties and I'm really offended! ?

Bloody tall people! ?

Tall!? Think the last time I was called tall was in year 7. Class photo back row right smack bang in the middle.

By year 11 I was on the middle row at the end. I'm 5ft 8 at a push ?

Having him back in some capacity on the coaching squad wouldn't be a bad thing, he would be a good number two for Pearson.

I think he'd be fine as a manager but having someone like Pearson as DoF to bounce ideas off of or for them to reign in some of his more out-there ideas.
