Miah Dennehy
He always seemed to be such an immense player for you, I was shocked when I saw him play for Middlesbrough at the Riverside at the amount of stick he got from home fans. He certainly was and had his best years with us. Don't think he really hit those levels again though, particularly at Boro. We did well to get a few years good service and then a decent fee for him.
cidercity1987
And I am sure if Cardiff were top of the League and we were second, he would say NO again...
2015
Still one of my favourite ever games beating Swindon 3-0 and to then watch them crash and burn in the play off final against Preston.
Fordy62
I don’t think anyone can have any genuine vitriol against Flint. Colossus for us, irrespective of where he ended up.

He always said he wanted to go back to the North East thou, so was strange he only lasted a year at Middlesbrough. He never lived or played anywhere near the North East before joining Boro?

Fodbarmyarmy
There was defo something in the air that night, the atmosphere was electric, we all wanted blood for that defeat in November and boy , for once, we got what we wanted....

Ironically thought he left to move back up north and yet back down living this way again. I remember a work colleague of mine who was a 'boro fan ringing me up and boasting about them signing him, and all he was going to do. He got really pissy when I told him that I thought that Championship teams had sussed him out and that we had seen his best days. He never came back to me on that strangely. It was rocking but my word it feels longer than 7 years ago to me. Maybe because it's been so difficult to watch over the past few seasons that I've actually been looking forward to the season finishing. I used to dread close season!

ralphindevon
It’s that time of year when you get jealous of any teams playing for titles, cups and promotions. As a football fan there’s no better feeling than going to an April game knowing a win will push you towards your goal. Studying tables and fixtures, working out all the scenarios. That night had it all. Entering February/March knowing your season is pretty much over as far as going up or down is is so dull.
