If you switched Lee Johnson and Nigel Pearson's jobs they have done/did at City, there would be chants of Johnson Out now.  And Pearson wouldn't be hated as much as Johnson is.

One nil up but it’s been dire again

The situation the two faced was/is totally different! LJ's every wish granted, NP inherited a shitshow.

Yes they are different and you haven’t understood what I said.  I am saying that if Pearson oversaw what Johnson achieved then he wouldn’t be hated as much as Johnson is. And if Johnson oversaw what Pearson is then it would be choruses of Johnson Out.

Despite being one up we were IMO outplayed in the first half and have generally looked second best. They created the clearer scoring opportunities and were able to move the ball effectively always looking to overwhelm us on the break. By contrast we have found it difficult to put a few passes together. A neutral watching this would think we were bottom of the table.  Posh players and fans must be extremely disappointed to be behind.

Unless we up our game +++ in the second half this, I fear, ain’t going to end well.

From BBC Peterborough; "Bristol City don't deserve it, but they've taken the lead. That all came rom one bad Peterborough pass. They had been attacking, we broke away with 4 on 2, but one bad pass gave the ball away and they then outnumbered us".

The commentator also remarked that "Szmodics only has eyes for goal and won't pass to better placed team mates"
