candygram for mongo
Used to take the money and help run the fitness club in the old grandstand on weekday nights in the 80/90’s. He was indeed a very nice bloke.
City1970
Great bloke is Mike. Mike managed the fitness club in the evenings at Ashton Gate until Gary Johnson shut it down. Mike had time for everyone, just a top guy.

Merrick's Marvels
Last time I saw him, he was leaving the game early (and not from the Dolman!) with a face like thunder. The day Bournemouth handed us our arse on a plate last October. Let's hope tomorrow is rather more enjoyable for all of us.

The actual act to which the chant related obviously not condoned - to say the least (having been a keeper myself).

Guest
Gibson. Garland, Galley, Gow, thank you for letting me be there when the likes of these and our leader Harry Dolman turned out for our club; great days and proper days at the football; now P.C/F.F.P and Bristol fing sport rules...not ok. Thanks for the memories Mike G and co, will never forget you all. Edited April 8, 2022 by gl2
spudski
Someone is on the ball at the club...Mr Gould? Long time over due. It's a simple action...but draws fans, with memories, long term...closer to the ' modern scenario'. Often older fans feel disenchanted...the more ' connection' made...the better. It's not rocket science...but someone has worked it out recently.
