  • The title was changed to Your questions wanted: FBC Podcast - Peterborough review - LIVE

Q: What do you feel about Pearson calling out performances post match, when most are contracted and he will struggle to move them on - is this blame game really the way to motivate?

Q: Why do our young players look so out of form (Scott, HNM, ZV) is Pearson now struggling to manage upcoming talent as well as experienced pro’s?

What do you think of Pearson’s post match comments about the passiveness of the club and and was this aimed at the board and owner?

I am getting the feeling that pearson is thinking he is bigger than little old bristol city and we are not up to moving on to Premier for lots of reasons and is getting frustrated. STARTING to feel he is loosing heart.???

Mark ,

I think what needs to be discussed is how have we ended in this position, ultimately we’ve gone from a side that had an outside chance of top six to a relegation fighting side. I think it’s easy to point the finger at Pearson but in my opinion our problems are bigger and have been going on longer than Pearson has been at the club

How on earth do you think a club that lost £38.4m & is in real danger of failing FFP during next season gets out of this mess when we have players signed by the previous regime on huge wages that no one will take off our hands?

Because until we find a solution to that, everything else is pretty meaningless.

Assuming it's reasonable to expect a manager to organise and motivate a group of decent professionals (see Cooper at Forest, for example), at least for a period of time, has Pearson failed?

He had 3 loan sgnings Which Pearson is against) And when we played them those loan- signings tore us apart.

Zak Vyner, what is he ? How did he become a professional footballer.

Gave the ball away 3 times with his first 4 touches, played a crossfield pass that went out for a goal kick and was so late in one tackle that he nearly took the wingers leg off ( no idea how he didn't get booked for that).

Terrible footballer. Sooner he’s gone the better

I think the question is… why’s he gone backwards so fast under Pearson? He look a real prospect a while back, especially in midfield.

Here’s a question:

(well 3)

After 46 games:

Would we be stay up if it were not for point deductions to Derby and Reading?

Will will take the magical 50 points?

Will we gain more points than last season?

oh and another one…. Last year “if the season went on another month we’d be relegated”…. Same again this year??

It’s clear we aren’t getting out of this mess without serious investment into the playing staff. However, due to FFP we are financially hamstrung and NP has already come out in the press and squashed any expectation I had for next year by saying it’s unlikely we will be spending big in the summer (at least not unless we sell big).

Assuming (for whatever reason) the big money bids don’t come in for the likes of Massengo, Semenyo or others, just how on Earth are we going to raise some much needed cash?

Do the panel have any legitimate suggestions for alternative ways the club can generate some much needed income so we can go after the quality players needed to turn this around?

If Ian says one more time about bringing in a young manager, who dies he think will fit the bill? Please stop saying Lowe and Cooper, they are both employed and unrealistic now.

Someone please point out that we went down that route with LJ and DH, they worked out well..or not

Why wait almost a year to review the game?

Concern for me is whilst we may receive bids for those players , we won’t receive the bids of our valuation. Clubs will know our financial position and therefore would expect bids to reflect this.
