Presumably there are no international breaks apart from the World Cup?

Premier league will start on August 6th or in and around that date,

and be suspended on 12/13 november and will not re-start till boxing day

EFL championship games will be suspended for November 13/20/27 and december 3rd and 10th

Although the 1st and 2nd divisions will continue subject to any players at the World cup

As we should be away on the first day of the season,I just hope its Middlesbrough(subject to them still being in the division)

Or Sunderland if they get promoted

We could still play Sunderland if they don't get promoted ??

I would have thought there would be less Championship players involved in later stages of the tournament.

Although I think Championship games could be called if you have any players involved in the later stages of the World cup

That was the reason behind it i believe.
