Ian Broomfield mentioned a name I haven't heard for years that of his old sports teacher Roy Dash. My geography teacher and an old form teacher at Redcliffe, early 70's.

Scored two goals ( out of about four he scored in total for us !) in the first game I can recall at the Gate , V Watford

Didn’t he score 3 in the Cup against Halifax I think, it was tough for him to fill  John Atyeo’s boots.

Struggling to help there icman - Weird that his name is as synonymous with City for me as much as Garland , Gow  or Cheese - , not for his short career at city , but purely because of that first game
