If you do, you have probably noticed that Gordon Sparkes, proud Plymothian and dyed-in-the-wool Argyle fan has been missing from the breakfast show for a couple of months. The station announced today that he is suffering from cancer and is about to begin what they said was intensive treatment which suggests it`s pretty bad. The poor bloke had testicular cancer sixteen years ago so he`s not having the best of luck. I know this won`t be of interest to most but I`m hoping he can beat this bastard disease and is back making our breakfast shows the great listen they were again.
