Bristol ‘Live’ proof reader excels once again.

Recommended Posts

That's a hell of an assumption that Bristol 'live' have a proofreader. In the age of click bait it's all about how many articles you can get out the door and then before you know it it's half way down the page replaced by equally nonsensical might/could/maybe postulating nonsense.

I really don't know why anyone reads local news anymore.

If Antoine Semenyo feels he has a good relationship with Antoine Semenyo then Antoine Semenyo is right to speak about that. He should strife to be the best Antoine Semenyo he can be.

Personally I like people who have read self help books that encourage you to speak about yourself in the first person mode.*

*Actually, Port Said Red is not. :)

Quite. The industry phased out proof-readers, when it phased out hot metal type-setting.  Things were read by the sub-editors, but sadly that function has also been largely axed and the onus is now normally on an overworked and time-pressured recent graduate to put things straight to air, with nary a second pair of eyes looking stuff over. With predictably awful results!

I don’t know. Sounds like reading OTIB to me!

Now Gregor has jumped ship to Bristol World, it's good to see him churning out some stuff for them and scooping his former employers 😉

..and out of interest, Rich Forrester who took over Gregor for the Post, is he the one who sounds like he's sh*tting himself when asking NP questions?
