Merrick's Marvels
Good luck to whoever signs him, more like. Unless it's Cardiff, there's no wishing them anything but the very worst. 4 2
Lew-T
It’s difficult to thank him for his services, because in the main he’s been shite and uninspiring. He has been here 6 years, SIX! And I can only recall 2 moments of quality. I think just a goodbye would suffice… 16 1
GrahamC
Interesting that Richard Forrester said this a week ago whereas Gregor said he could be staying. Not the case & for me the right decision.

Red white and red
To be fair I would have been gutted if O’Dowda was offered a new contract. Apart from a handful of games over the years he’s been average at best. Should have gone 3 or 4 years ago.

2015
He'll probably go elsewhere and do well, but he really did flatter deceive for most of his career at City. Shame.

Callum was/is in Dubai so I'd lean towards that indeed being a case of 2+2=5.

Popular Post Sandhurst Red
Players do come and go, however do remember that they are no different than you or I and have feelings etc. Callum was amazing when he met my son, giving him so much time and encouraging him to pursue a dream of playing football. Last week was mental health week, and mayn don't know some of the injuries that Callum has faced as he is quite a private person. Many may say he should/could have delivered more, but I will say this - from what I saw, he gave his all and both he, and his family cared deeply about this club. He also did a lot in the community that was unnoticed and unreported, and represented Bristol City as a professional at all times. Good luck Callum and I for one hope you go on to achieve more in your career. Edited May 16, 2022 by Sandhurst Red 27
Taz
Promised so much but delivered very little overall. Possibly not helped by being played in god knows how many positions/formations, definitely not helped by the injuries. Best all round that he moves on. Would be surprised if he moves to another Championship club that will be anywhere near the top 10 next season.

ohhhshauntaylor
Nothing at all against him personally, as I don’t know him. But this is great news to save his wage- sadly has never performed to the level we expected, or that his build/attributes suggest he could. even should he go elsewhere in the champ- it’ll be the same story, inconsistent and lightweight. The Dolman Pragmatist
I really liked O’Dowda and he gave us some fabulous moments but sadly no more than that. I hope he succeeds elsewhere but it will be very interesting whether his fitness improves away from Ashton Gate. 1

Sturny
2017-18 season COD was at his best. Got injured and was never the near the same. It was a long time ago. I wish we were able to keep Niclas Eliasson over COD over these years. Wouldn't surprise me if NE got more assists in that one season than COD has his entire career here, he was exciting to watch.
