Yep he is wrong, again. I know of people on the inside of it all to know enough about what goes on and the guys at the top have more money than most MPs and that's not even an exaggeration. Stupid amounts of money and suffering that is being caused because of pure greed.

You don't think cocaine dealers are not wealthy? You don't know much about what goes on then, or are just being naive deliberately

Depends what you call welathy. Very few become millionaires or anywhere near.

Staggering amounts of money floating around. I'm not really sure how people afford coke to be honest.

I always felt that people who front line deal weren't really the ones making the money more the people in the background dealing with logistics. May be different for coke.

You're right about the greed and the laws play directly into their hand.

I guess he knows some low level dealers who probably make decent money but are just as stupid as their buyers, and put all their profit up their own noses (without telling anyone the actual truth). All Riaz will see is probably some skint dealer and not know how much he has spent himself on his own supply. If there are drug dealers who are skint, maybe Riaz could point them in the direction of getting some actual paid employment - like the majority of people who stay within the law.

That depends on how much money they're willing to declare that they have. Unfortunately you have to prevent the ones at the bottom from buying for it to eventually stop and yes that means addicts and poor people have to be punished for the buying to dry up. The runners on the streets are not anywhere near as wealthy as the people that are above them. If the dealers lose their money and cannot buy that's on area that loses their supply and a win for everyone else IMO.

They've been trying that for 30 plus years it doesn't work and makes things worse. I'm not a massive fan of Neil Woods (ex undercover cop pushing for reform) but he outlines quite a lot why this has failed and the harder they pushed the worse it got. Think he's got a show coming out based on his book soon.

Same as any other 'business' I guess. The higher up you go the more you earn and the less dirty you get your hands.

Yes I agree Cocaine and alcohol almost certainly are used together. Cocaine adding an instant high which appears to make many of the users I've seen at away matches behave with a total disregard for anyone else and almost makes them think they are invincible.

Generally I work with a much younger age group than myself. They really can drink to excess (when out socialising), they are pretty open about stuff but I don't know of any that have taken or are taking Coke.

Weed, now that's a different matter, many are on that.

You are talking b******s

%100

I promise you

I assume you are referring to the low life minions who run it around the streets

Behind those minions are layers and layers going upwards that accumulate wealth at a staggering rate .

My understanding is the dealers at the bottom are paid with the substance, whatever it is. This keeps them loyal and 'functioning'. Once 'territory' is established it will never dry up at there is always someone to step in.

Exactly. How many times do you see flash cars, speedboats, fantastic property etc siezed and find out its been purchased through drug dealing and money laundering.

They don't only bribe these minions to go on the streets to do their dirty work but they have their own 'security' teams to do the physical work also. Honestly the money they have is money most will never see in their life.

Absolutely M

The good thing is , it now all gets seized

Besides which , overtly bragging and showing their wealth has been the start of many a downfall ?

I know it's a sample of 1 but I've never seen any.

I also hear about it being on the rise but also people doing it on pub tables back in the 80s.

These things don't add up to the conclusions some are coming to from what I can see but maybe I'm just sheltered.

Go and take a piss at any time other than before the game or half-time. Plenty of kids in fake stone island gear, 2 sometimes 3 up in a cubicle passing around the keys to their parents houses.

The amount of fake Stone Island at Ashton Gate is a far more serious epidemic than cocaine use imo.

I thought it was much more prevalent around 2005 onwards, but don’t see much evidence now - although I do think a new demographic has picked up on it now, which is why we’re seeing more misbehaviour perhaps?

How do you know there are 2 or 3 in a cubicle (I assume you can see the shoes) and then from there how do you know they are passing around keys? Why are they passing around keys?
