The woman i spoke with on the phone said there had been an issue with the first batch of tickets they had received as well.

I know mine won't be here in time as walked past the postie after she'd gone past our house and nothing in the post box, so I'll be calling up for re-prints in the morning.

Ticketmaster have a specialist area at the ground you will need to head to

I rang up today as not arrived in todays post

They told me they would reprint and that I need to pick them up at the ticket office tomorrow  I told them I don’t intend to be in a big queue to pick up tickets they assured me it will be minutes ?

£30 booking fee and I have to queue for my own ticket purchased Gold hospitality they should refund the booking fee

Email just received from Ashton Gate:

Our postal delivery partner has just informed us that the tickets which were sent out last week from Ashton Gate for Elton John’s concerts tomorrow (Wednesday) and Sunday have not been distributed by them. Obviously we are extremely disappointed by this and have now taken measures to make it as easy as possible for you to collect your tickets on the day.

From 12 noon tomorrow (Wednesday), our hospitality team will be stationed to greet you at the main Winterstoke Road entrance to the stadium (postcode BS3 2LQ). If you would like to collect your tickets before the official opening time of 4pm you are welcome to do so. Please note there is no access past this collection point until 4pm when the Fan Village and Stadium officially opens.

On arrival at Gate 1 (Picture A below) make your way to the left – you will see the Wedlock Wall (as below Picture B) to the left of the Ticket Office – our hospitality team will be stationed here from 12 noon.

You can either collect all of your group’s hospitality tickets in one go i.e. if you are a small group and all arriving together. OR you can collect individual tickets on arrival separately. In order to do this, we will need a guest list so that we can ensure all of your guests are accommodated correctly. Please email us on: events@ashtongate.co.uk with your lead booker name and the guestlist and we will look after the rest.

Thank you for your understanding – we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. It is regrettably out of our control, but we will do everything we can to make your evening with Elton one to remember!

Where’s the best place to park at somewhat short notice coming from Chippenham way? I can drive into Bristol either M4 or A420 ring road. Obviously with the road closures around AG, it’s going to be a bit mad but I’m happy to walk a bit of distance to get there?

I’d get park n ride from Brislington or Cribbs, you can book on the Bristol sport website. Link above

Afternoon all. If anyone ends up with a completely spare ticket for this on Wednesday night gig they cannot shift , and they would like to recoup £40 for it rather than see it go dead , drop me a message. I live 5 min walk from AG so could come and meet you before with cash easy.

appreciate face value of these are £100 an upwards , but that’s a bit rich for me. I’ve been to events before where someone drops out last minute and I have had tickets go totally unused as couldn’t find a taker at short notice.

So if anyone finds themselves in a similar scenario give me a shout. I can slightly sweeten that deal by letting you double park my car ion the drive,  so you would have a parking space also if driving

appreciate this offer looks pants now, but might hold some appeal Wednesday afternoon if you get a drop out late in day

Turns out I can’t go later after all now so my pittiful offer no longer stands ha. Hope everyone going has awesome time

If anyone else is looking to try and pick up a late cheap ticket , I have seen a few bobbing around for about £60 on the Twickets app today , and imagine it might go even lower later

I'm not surprised at all, he's a washed up has been (all be it a good one) whose voice went years ago and the tickets were ridiculously expensive. Note to club The Killers were not like this that what happens when you book a relevant band for today!

Club won't care if the promoters sell out or sell one ticket, they'll have rented them the space.

The Dolman was bouncing like a ball !

I went tonight and it was a good show, a lot of younger people there. I don't mind a mixture of acts for all ages, us oldies had to wait a long time for events like this in Bristol. I do agree that its's way too expensive though. This wasn't a particularly complex or spectacular show and I think the number of empty seats reflected the cost.

I went to go get a soft drink about 10 mins before the start and all the bars round the concourse and outside of the bowl were rammed. I think that was why so many empty seats still just before he got going. Although south stand did look relatively empty.

Stuck in this traffic trying to get back into Wales.
Thought we was in luck when they announced the new bridge opened as we got in the car at the Portway to hit 3 miles of traffic moving 2mph trying to get off at Magor.
Back to Reg, thought he done a good show. He was one of my bucket list crossed off. First part was a bit slow apart from the best song he’s ever done Tiny Dancer and then Rocket Man. After his first change it was more lively and good sing along songs.
Was worried about him trying the high notes but he didn’t attempt them and ruin his own songs. So apart from traffic a good night.
Strange to go to a concert that finished at 9:30 but he is getting on.
And went to the sports bar to get a drink to notice the ones outside were empty during the first part of show. So bonus there as well. Unlike the bars at the Killers which were rammed.

His voice was fabulous, the show was brilliant. Plus he’s doing another on Sunday!

Thought it odd he's coming back Sunday, isn't he in London on Saturday?

Would have thought tomorrow night would have made more logistical sense?

I never knew that green area on the corner of Smyth Road was called Gore`s Marsh Park. Every day`s a school day on OTIB!

Just called "The Marsh" locally. Nice little park as it goes.

Most over-rated performer ever, hasn’t had a decent song since Benny and the jets, why people would want to waste decent money on this guy is beyond me

Not sure how any City fan can criticise anyone for wasting money on substandard performances - we've all been doing that for years!!!

For the record, I'm no fan of Elton anyway :)
