Some very physical players in this team especially around Scott. He's looked very decent - mature and has put some cutting passes in. The rest of the team look good too. Bright future ahead with this lot
Olé
Alex Scott will be in his thirties before any of the U19 strikers return a pass to him. Looks like a talented age group but they have a lot to learn about teamwork. Am almost certainly biased but so frustrating watching these Premier League nobodies do anything but play the easy ball to their playmaker. 7

CiderHeadDan
Scott’s positioning in midfield has been very good. Such a versatile player. Have to enjoy him when he’s here because he’s going to be playing at the top level sooner or later.

Too much dribbling, too much dribbling into condensed areas. Too much trying to roll the ball across their body, which they get away with at age group where they aren’t playing another country’s best players, who are “technically strong”. Also has the composure to make the right decision on the ball.

RedRock
Well played Scott. Not far off Man of the Match. Aside from a couple of sloppy moments really impressive, can’t provide a higher accolade than Gerry Gow’ish type of performance,

Exactly, no point playing Alex behind a front two who are playing as individuals because they want the glory. If I was the coach I'd be giving them a bollocking.

If he leaves it will surely be to a Prem club who will give him games.

Admin phantom Posted June 22, 2022 Admin Report Share Posted June 22, 2022 The worry of course, after hearing about how the men's team all under performed due to burnout how much will we get out of Scott before he's overplayed into next season? Or will he treat the World Cup break as his off season?
