Davefevs
Not sure how to link the full interview, but it’s on Bristol Sounds…hope this link works. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0c9y3t3 Thought the club interview earlier this week was a bit “meh”, but I enjoyed this one. Nige sounds very happy with where the squad is. 1
Pezo
For anyone listening I would recommend fast forwarding to 18 mins. Everything before that is buildup, filler or nothing to do with city.
glynriley
Nice one Dave. Always enjoy listening to Nige. He sounds quite bullish. 1
Gazred
Maybe more departures, a lot of that driven by players themselves. HNM, wants him to stay, doesn't want to see him run contract down,. players dictate their own future's. Semenyo - no time frame, being patient. Baker - as per the Baker thread. King - Investing time in the right people, future manager/coach, can still contribute as a player. Benarous - getting exposure to senior team mates during rehab, he's around the place. Williams- trains hard, fit right now. Would benefit from a full season. Important player for us, good points return when in the side. Season ahead - maximising what we have. Consistency and being competitive the aim. New players help, development still important. Wants to be in and around the promotion race. 1

Also hinted the scan for Semenyo might be more positive than they thought, but not getting hopes up…(paraphrased)
cidercity1987
The vibe and feeling coming from the management and fans is so different to the wider footballing worlds view of our season ahead. I love it
Loosey Boy
Another great interview from Nige…. Particularly note his comment that Antoine “may” miss the start to the season - sounds more positive than was mentioned previously
