I think, as far as I remember, there were a few attitude problems, possibly thinking he was better than he was,

The worst thing that happened was him scoring a decent goal in the League Cup (I think) v. Watford (again , IIRC) and he probably started believing his own hype.

No mention of whether it was a free transfer or whether a small fee was involved.

Bristol Live understands that there is no transfer fee involved for the forward but the Robins have inserted a high sell-on clause in the deal should be prove a success for the Us.

Shame he didn’t progress with us but this is a good move for him.

He says in his interview for the U’s he felt unwanted at city, interesting comment.

Interesting, but unsurprising imho.  Got a bit of a chance, scored 2, thought he’d made it…brought back down to earth after Boro (a), then sent in loan.

He might have felt unwanted because we let him go? Could be something in it!

From memory, I don't think Nige was particularly enthused about his all-round performance, despite the 2 goals.

I think he said he felt wanted at Cambridge, bit of a difference.

No fee, big sell on.

Hope he does well.  I think if he gets a goal, he could bang.

I hope he does well too, but he's been a bit raw for a long time now.

The last time I saw him was for the U21's after he'd returned from loan and he was woeful. It looked like his timing was way out as he couldn't get the ball under control at all - still scored though. If it all clicks for him he could go a long way, especially with his pace,

Best of luck to him.
