Yeh I've cringed a fair bit during some of his pre match press conferences. Same stuff week in week out.

Richard Payne, ex Post journalist back in the day.

Actually listened to his answers & then adjusted his questions accordingly.

Like James Piercy does- it makes it a far more interesting experience, for everyone.

It's refreshing that the local journalists now generally understand how to get the best out of NP.

Rather than than the Gregor (aka Tim Messenger from Hot Fuzz) approach to goading him into losing his temper.

I don't miss those first 6 months of excruciating interviews.
