Guess peoples definition of a sitter can be different. It doesn't have to be an open goal for it to be classed as an easy chance imo. Any striker should be dissapointed to miss the target from there.

Reflections.

A half of two halves for me.

We started well, looked neat and tidy and scored with a counter-attack, then since the drinks break (on 25 minutes) we have largely been second best.

Neither midfield has seen much of the ball.  Alex Scott has not been especially involved. Tommy Conway has looked at home and set up AW for the goal and found good space on 43 minutes and hit the post as he was clattered. Rob Atkinson has had a good half.

Next goal will be critical and thy nearly got it with the last touch of the first half!

10 seconds left, he needs to put it to their corner, but gives it straight to them in a dangerous position.

Nearly threw the lead away there.

Looked like conceding at the end of that half. They are a very physical side and the ref is giving a lot of leeway. 

 

We need a goal ASAP after half time to get confidence back up (and use the midfield!)

A pretty fair summary.. We need to try and get Scott on the ball more second half. Conway looks really lively and energetic

Ref bottled Red Card and then the Pen shout (anywhere else on the pitch that would have been a foul for a late challenge on TC)

Not much in it, other than our decent goal.

Penalty shout I have seen given, usually against us, and should have been a clear cut red. We carry the odd threat on the break, they look they can sneak something. 

In the heat going to have to use subs well, but I would much rather be ahead than behind in it.

Desperately poor game. So much hoofing. Red and a penalty for us. Obvs neither given. 
I can see danger if we don’t try to keep the ball and pass it on a hot day.

He has to do a lot more than amble around the pitch.

Similar to recent games.

Needs to step it up or he'll be hooked - Sykes to midfield, Tanner to RB.

Forgot that this was the ref who failed to give Semenyo two pens at Preston. Now Conway today.

His level of what is a pen is set.

So let's see what happens in the second half.
