Yeah, of which must were little pass backs from promising positions, didn't attempt to go down the byeline and get a cross in once. All neat and tidy, but no urgency. Time to give Pring a chance.

Bad looking.  The bookmakers were right. Only 4 teams had a better change of relegation than our side if you would place a bet 3 weeks ago. It is seems we will fight for that.  I have faith that we will remain in Championship. It will not be easy but we can do it.

I am a supporter of NP, but can't believe he did not get fresh legs on with Wilson and Pring on the bench, we are playing in 30c heat, crazy to not use all subs

How does dasilva start over Pring ? I know pring struggles to play the full 90 but he has a lot more impact when he is on the pitch.

Atkinson was our best player and we lost all shape defensively when he went off. 
A scrappy early season game but a point away from home is never a bad thing.

Not good enough. Not awful but we didn’t kick on when we controlled the game and then let them play to their strengths. Long hard season beckons I think. We’ve got a decent squad but just seem to lack confidence in our ability to impose our game. 
 

At least we didn’t roll over in injury time! That’s a start.

Not going to panic for a few games yet, but if some impactful loans don’t happen, or someone nabs a key player before the window shuts, then things are looking bleak indeed.

Thought we had an easy start so say on paper . Eeek , 

mind you I personally believe a fit on form kalas & firing semenyo will make a difference. Need to get Scott firing again , the summer football obviously taking its toll as it did with a lot of the full England players after the euros last year .

A point away is no disaster

Read back the thread - The whining about absolutely anything and everything that flow when we concede is overwhelming

Ugly game in draining conditions. Still a point away from home is good, even more so as it's our first this season.

Was convinced we would lose that in et, but got a point in the end. Hard fought which sometimes we need, but turning 7 points at the half time break in to 1 at the end is not great. Very flat really second half.

Well, a point is better than nothing. With a normal refereeing we could have won it: that being said, we have also to work on some aspects of our game, like consistency in the second half of matches.

It is just worrying where we are at as a football club right now. Really concerning.

I could sit here and say we shouldve had a pen, and they shouldve been down to 10 men, but we have to manage our game

yes it was hot, but Wigan managed to keep the press going and win those second balls, we wilted literally after the first drinks break. 

What really worries me is that this us traditionally when we get our points on the board.

Too much dead wood still in that squad that have not been good enough for years.

Ah well a point on the board, 39 to go...
