Porto Red
Every single player in a red (or purple) shirt, starters and subs. Plus the management and coaching staff. Most enjoyable 90 minutes of football I've seen in I don't know how long.
ExiledAjax
For me it was Sykes up until his red. Overall probably Scott or maybe even Wells depending on whether you want to reward the assist or the goal. But yeh, great performances across the pitch from all.
Gazred
You could make a case for many tonight. I really don't think i could single someone out. Even the subs were on it. Great to be able to say that.
AshtonRobin21
Every player was excellent tonight. There's a case for all of them. Nice to see the likes of Naismith, Massengo and Vyner make positive strides tonight. All three was superb for the full 90 minutes. Even the subs came on and made impacts. Joe Williams charging 40/50 yards to press, and makes a challenge. Love the aggression he has to his game.
Wiltshire robin
Honestly everyone was outstanding tonight and up until the red card I thought Sykes was brilliant . I never thought I’d say this but I thought vyner was great tonight and also Atkinson is turning into quite some player .
HappyClapper
Positive performances all over the pitch. Really hard to single anyone out. Well done boys.
Porto Red
Sykes was indeed excellent. But for me if I had to pick one - and I don't but I'm going to pretend I'm forced to - Atkinson. Delightful in every third of the pitch. Naismith, Vyner, Dasilva, Scott, Massengo, Wells, Weimann, Conway, I could just name the entire squad and there'd be takers for each and every one tonight.
TonyTonyTony
I can’t single one out. They were all 8/9 out of 10. We have set a benchmark. An amazing night
TRL
for me 4 players stood out Massengo, Vyner, Atkinson and Naysmith, but the whole team deserve an round of applause, a very good performance showing what you can do when you are in control, and what you can do in adversity. Special mention to Bents who when called upon did brilliantly tonight, the save and follow up from Atkinson was fantastic near the end.
swanker
Didn’t go tonight but it’s nice to read the positivity. Pearson is a very good manager and hopefully we’ll be up to speed in a few more weeks. COYR

Bobbie
The back 3 were outstanding. Fair play to Vyner to perform like that after being written off by so many
Finley_Smith10
I usually slate Vyner but he was very good tonight. Sykes class until his red. Atkinson was my MOTM tho didn’t think he put a foot wrong all night

One Team
What impressed me was the effort towards the end to keep the clean sheet from everyone. 3

RedorDead BCFC
Naismith for me, like a man possessed to stop them getting anything. But all of the rest not far behind.

Especially Andi who was asked to play in a variety of positions tonight. But those 4 i mention for me we top drawer, of course we may not have won without the two you mention Contributions tonight.
grifty
When I saw their front line of Adebayo and Morris I thought Naismith was going to be outmuscled and outran, but he dealt with them almost perfectly. He was also very good on the ball. The reverse passes into midfield are a great way to turn into attack quickly.
Dynamite Red
Naismith, controlled the back three, dominant and also showed his passing ability to start attacks.

The hand of RO'D
Sykes for me. What a player he looks. Was it a red? From the top of the lansdown I couldn’t tell.
TinMan's left peg
So hard to pick because they were all excellent (feels so long since that’s been an issue) but that beautiful pass by Han Noah pips it for me

Not sure, seen it back a few times, it wasn't from behind as Freeman had his body angled to the side, the feet were not up, and I don't think it was two footed, it was however aggressive. For me it wasn't a Red, but you can maybe understand why it was given, that said Freeman should probably have gone for raised hands, especially as he jumped up unhurt to shove Sykes. Maybe it's just me comparing tackles from a different era

I’d say do - Was right in front of us, definitely late challenge & a red. But surprised Freeman got away with a yellow for his violent conduct but I think Sykes might have made as be more of it to deflect from his tackle. Apart from that Sykes was superb & really impressed by him so far.

From the top of the lansdown I couldn’t tell. Nigel Pearson said on the radio something like 'in my day that would be a good tackle'. I'd need to see it back, but I think a majority say it was a red. But then i guess we'd all say that the retaliation should have been a red.
