Sheltons Army
I remember a lot of us in their ‘stand’ in the home leg , about 5 for every seat , how that stand stayed upright for the game I’m not really sure , it was certainly creaking ! my memory of the home leg was we huffed and puffed and never really looked like overturning it but almost out of nowhere took off
MrBibs
Another in the enclosure. Seem to recall catching my ear on the East End railings when jumping onto the pitch. Edited August 18, 2022 by MrBibs

miser
One of the big games on the comeback. The emotion of winning a game was something then

GrahamC
4 minutes ago, Shuffle said: Yes both games and enclosure for game at the Gate Same. I also remember Hereford away (think it maybe was just after Boxing Day?) in 1982, we were bottom of the entire football league then & had only won 2 games all season. Loads went, many of the old Park End lot were in fancy dress, absolutely hilarious to see it all kicking off with people dressed as the Lion from the Wizard of Oz, a nun, coppers & a group of construction workers. Saw a bloke who was dressed as a monk getting thrown out. We won 3-1 & the reaction at the end of the game was like we’d won the league. 6
Brann-red
Yep remember it . That was my first ever city game . Didn’t get to Wembley as nobody would take me in my family sadly
Alan Dicks
Anyone remember that huge City flag in their stand, in the first game? Think it may have been a union jack near the end of the stand? It certainly was as high as the stand itself.
redapple
Enclosure for me. But missed final as on first foreign holiday. Elruliri
I remember stevie Neville's goal like it was yesterday, it was like it was scored in slow motion. I loved that team and can recall buying all the players photos in black and white. I named my son Riley after Glyn. I would love to bump into him one day so they could have a photo.
