somered
A few of us are travelling to Brentford by bus and we were wondering what is the best way to Brentford from Hammersmith?

Redminster
From Hammersmith bus station it looks like you should just get on a Piccadilly line tube towards Heathrow and get off at South Ealing (closest tube station to the ground according to Football Ground Guide)

Admin phantom Posted October 3, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted October 3, 2006 still quite a walk from south ealing to brenford though! and the A4/M4 to get across! The M4 is on an overpass so just go under it, plenty of places to cross the A4 - no problems! Redminster
still quite a walk from south ealing to brenford though! and the A4/M4 to get across!Pah. Used to walk from Temple Meads to AG every other week when I was 15-16. That was a lot further than the South Ealing walk looks on the map. Probably find a few pubs along the way to soften the blow. Heathy33
Nope. Take Picc line (as its known to us tube workers) to boston manor. get out of tube, cross road and get E8 bus heading downhill to brentford. Get off at stop after the train station and follow the brentford fans through the houses to your left. Easy!

DADA...your 2 mins from the ground. Don't get off at South Ealing....bit of a trek.
Dave L
Ask your chauffeur to get the Bentley out of the garage and drive you to Bristol airport. Take your private helicopter and land it on the centre circle at Brentford's ground. Ask your butler to set up your picnic table on the away terrace and make sure you still have a plentiful supply of prawn sandwiches, chilled champagne and cider. Make sure your private security people don't let any of those horribly common unwashed fans stand in front of you or pinch your caviar. Dismiss the chauffeur and pilot and get the CATS coach home to prove you have the common touch (make sure you have a coach to yourself).
