NiceRed Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 The atmosphere today was a disgrace, probably the worst I've ever seen at a football ground anywhere for an attendance that size. Other threads have done to death (and rightly so) some of the perceived major causes of this (standing, E End etc), but the likehood of these changing anytime soon is minimal (though that doesn't mean people should stop trying). However, I was thinking more about some of the minor things we should try and get the club to do that might play a small contributory factor in improving the sh1te atmosphere. One of the things that pis$es me off for instance is the music played just before the game and after every home goal that seems to stiffle any attempts at singing/chanting that we might be starting. I realise most clubs in the country seem to do this now but have no idea why. What would we have to do to make the club stop the tannoy playing James Brown (or whatever they played today - can't even remember)??? Who decides this?
