The nearest station is apparently PRESTON PARK (10-15 mins walk). Direct trains go from London Bridge every 30 mins or so, taking about an hour. Will probably aim for the 11.40 train. andy g Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 don't try getting the train there from Shrewsbury though - i did that a few years ago and it was a nightmare Seven hours travelling down there (including a bus) and then I found it wasnt possible to get back again afterwards because there werent any trains running late enough !
