The thing with england is we use our srengths very well and our main strengh is our kick sir johnny wilkinson. Id love to see england play badly but still win the world cup. Spud55 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Share Posted November 10, 2003 Yep tries do not matter. the great Welsh rugby side of the 70's always beat england because they could kick better than us, we tended to play the more exciting flowing rugby, but got bettered, missed half our kicks while wales hit the vast majority of theirs. Although being fair Wales should have won today, but some bad decisions with the final ball that should have led to a try were either messed up or just ignored and play broke down.
