The Most important fact is that City won And seeing as I wasnt there and BCFC World died, on me on Saturday Aft I didnt even listen to the game, so unlike some cant pass comment at all on said game, the first I've missed, either being there or listening, other those I've missed through work. This is getting to be far too personal an issue to keep going. I for one think life is faaaaaar to short to carry on. 1. I do not hate Leeeeroy, I simply do not roll with the hype. should the standards be maintained all season, then I will say so.In all the games I haver seen him play, including three this season, he has not been the player I would expect, as per my posts, as you all seem to think. However, I may have seen his three worst games this season.He is not yet a Bob Taylor, a Wayne Allison, a Ade Akinbiyi, a Shaun Goater, a Cheese, in my opinion. Yes at the beggining of the season I felt he should be dropped in favour of others ( My choices Miller, Robbo and Heff- subsequent history has proved me wrong.)I have since said that Leeeeeeeroy should be in the team on merit. When he stopped scoring, I suggested he be dropped, to allow on of our other four strikers a chance. BEFORE he scored two goals Saturday. He's scorin, so he's in the team on merit, he stops he aint? That to me don't suggest I hate him, its a eminently coldly logical approach. If people see it that way, fine, people seem to think otherwise.At the end of the season who ever is right will no doubt say so. 2. Your views are strongly held, as are mine. My prime interest is Bristol City FC, as is yours. We have to accept that they are different. I have PM'd Freezer on this and we will sort this out. I feel a lot of this is a carry on from the Robbo thing. And I'll clear that up too. 1. I liked Robbo as a Div 2 Player 2. He got serious stick which in twenty odd years I've never seen a City play cop for. Robbo was not a great player, but a good lower div player, and did not earlier in the season deserve that abuse.3. As a result of the above, I joined, and after a while it got far too easy to wind some people up.... 4.His behaviour at the end was bloody poor and I said so. Nobody should do what he did, no matter how frustrated you may be.You have to do as the manager/assistant manager say, even if you feel it to be wrong. Hes gone.ancient history I do beleive. 6. Some of you obviously think I rate him above Leeeeeeeeeroy. Actually NO, I thought they played well together, but not a better player. Hope that clears that up once and for all. In comparisson to other young goalscorers coming through at City, here's where Leroy stands against the stars of the past in terms of league goals scored by the end of the season during which they turned 20: Brian Clark (62/63) - 25 in 51 Kevin Mabbutt (78/79*) - 19 in 63+17 Leroy Lita (04/05) - 16 in 16+39 (and rising!) As for Roberts haters and Lita lovers just think back to crusade days and I can call up all sorts of biased posts from both Roberts fans (he's now gone) and Lita fans(he's still here and still top scorer),people sure can offer their views but right is right ,black is black, if you can't see the obvious then it is frustrating. And I do think that some people do have"hidden agendas" at times in there posts,it may be sarcasm,sardonic or merely taking the mickey but I'm not thick and if I feel a response is warranted(particularly if it is knocking The City)then I'm up for it.
