That was bizarre. I've never seen us give the ball away as much as we did up to their 2nd. As soon as we went 2-0 down we started playing well. First bit of sustained pressure and they crumbled. The 3 subs all made a difference and Brownhill drove us on last 20. What a day

Beautiful sunny but chilly day up here, perfect for football
-
It's bluddy windy up ere mind

I thought Barnsley were very impressive at their place this season, played some cracking football first half. The winger Ryan Kent was excellent and tore Matthews a new one (standing 10 yards off him and letting him run at us didn't help)
I expect this to be a really tough game

Absolute masterclass from Linares

Well done LJ and the boys, nice to go out on a Sat night with a win to celebrate

How Fielding doesn't get sent off is beyond me. Thank you linesman

Really sorry to hear your bad news, I know it's not much of a consolation but I hope City get the 3 points for your family tonight.

With the goal, yes Joe Bryan rash but can't work out why Flint is so far behind rest of defenders. Maybe his lack of pace sub-consciously takes him there, but made Noone's run much easier.
Flint dropped deep because of the initial aerial challenge between Hordur and Lambert. Joe Bryan was at fault for Noones run, should have gone with him straight away but just let him get 5 yards ahead before he decided to track him. Lazy fromBryan

Not for the first time since LJ has arrived it was great to see all 3 subs come on and make a positive impact. I thought Pearce slotted in really well and looked comfortable on the ball and Ayling reinforced my belief that he is every bit as good as Matthews.
Admittedly it looked like 2 of the subs were forced on him but he showed again with the substitution of Reid for Kodjia that he has a real knowledge of tactics and how do get something out of the team, myself and most the people around me were questioning why he took off Reid, who I thought was looking quite lively, instead of the ineffective Wilbraham, well we all found out pretty soon after.

Ouch.
Betting is hardly the oracle.
By usual yardsticks i would have to disagree that, on this poll at least, 3.64% is hardly 'many people'.
Ok then I don't know why 3.64% would readily accept Monk
-
don't get why so many people would readily accept Monk

I thought Freeman played well considering he's only a league one player at best

Why wouldnt they be? I think many of there fans are just focused on going up, the whole 'there chasing us down for the title' is mainly us being over paranoid IMO... Second would be more than good enough for them and with MK drawing thats more or less PNE up automatically..
Reading comments on their forum and Twitter "chasing us down" certainly didn't seem like it was just us being paranoid. Last weekend Many of them believed they could and would do it and with the run they've been on I didn't blame them.
It sounded like we were by far the better team and their keeper was M.O.M so maybe with that in mind that's why they're so happy
-
Quite surprised to read how happy they are with a point

Ah right. He got applauded before the game when they gave the teams out so I was surprised to hear the booing. It was the fact he decided to join TBCUTR (The Big Club Up The Road) as they call us, that is what a Yeovil supporting mate said. Anyone but us and he wouldn't have been booed apparently!!
Rolls off the tongue that TBCUTR acronym doesn't it
-
I didn't hear it at the time but it sounds on here like Ayling was getting booed. If that was the case I feel a bit sorry for him as he's the type of player who always gives his all and certainly did well for Yeovil
