Stokes isn’t probably just England’s greatest cricketer but it could be argued he’s England greatest sportsman of all time. If not of all time then at the very least of his generation. He’s obviously an incredible cricketer, but he’s mental toughness is something else.

I can’t figure out the selection what with the batting issues we’ve now had for the last few years. I thought the plan was to introduce 2 or 3 young up and coming players such as Sibley, Crawley and Pope in readiness for the next Ashes. Yet we’ve still gone and (apart from Sibley) picked the same batsmen that have tried and failed. Baffling.

How can anyone vote for Mcinnes over someone like Martin O'Neill, I don't understand... I know we won't get O'Neill but he's the best manager on that list...

O'Neill is a completely wasted vote as not a realistic option for us.
