By end of Sunday we could be 3 points of relegation!

Google something like "championship table since" and there is something thqt can do a table for a date range.
We are p20 23 points 15th and 5 points clear of bottom 3 with that table I think.
Thanks for that Kit, fairly lays bare the absolute horror show of form. I can’t get over how things were improving, players were coming back, and then we shot ourselves in the foot big style!

Has anyone got the time to create a league table of the games since Manning arrived & one of NP games, and show them side by side?
-
So looking at these early voting numbers, LM is approx as unpopular as NP was popular in the weeks preceding him leaving. The club really have done well to transform all the steady progress being made in such a short time!

I’ve always been able to park on the road at Clay Wheels Lane, which is near the big Sainsbury’s

How about going up after an amazing championship season, yup enjoy the PL experience/grounds get relegated and share the £100m amongst the 10,000 of us that used to watch for years. Some sort of compo for the suffering! (That’s 10k each if your working it out)

Didn’t we have a penalty shoot out against the gas at twerton, and it went to about 12 penalties each?

It was a bright sunny afternoon as I remember, and at have time the fog just rolled over the top of the stand - funny how we all recall that day

I’m discussed with the club, it appears inadequate corporate governance, but worse than that crass behaviour - everything we might have thought was wrong with other clubs, and suddenly there we are, our owners dig a new low! - they must know how they have behaved is discussing?
-
Yes of coarse I’d like Manning to be successful, but history shows our club underspends on managers, and that’s reflected in the sheer number of mediocre managers we’ve had - you would think money men would have grasped by now - this is the one position you pay top dollar, cheap doesn’t get success.
Only once in 30 years have we paid the going rate for a top level manager - and just as he was turning the club around they sacked him, essentially because he hurt there feelings - just wierd.

Much as we can all see how class less our owners have behaved, I’d hazard a guess that not only did they not like having a knowledgeable but challenging manager in post, they’ll be over the moon to have saved another half mill per year by appointing a league one coach. Always gone for the cheapest option - with one exception Nigel Pearson (and surprise surprise he did the job he was asked!

I'd rather Bernard Manning.
Apart from him being dead but let's not dig up the past.
(apologies, I've been depressed and listening to The Smiths on a loop since Sunday afternoon).
Just as likely to be Bradley Manning!

I doubt there is any club where on the back of polls ( albeit only 1000 or so votes) with 95% in favour of the manager - go and do something so patently dim, against all the evidence of good management, if doing the job that had been asked.
I’ve been going for 35 years never know something so half witted.
angry beyond words !

Why can some find the game on sky, but I can’t get it on Sky via Virgin Media - only two games listed as showing.

Used to watch Reading all them years ago at Elm Park (until luck would have it I moved to Bristol). Point is Steve Death was an amazing keeper, and was as recall never called De’ath.
it was a Reading team with Robin Friday, superb (lookup “the greatest footballer you never saw”, a George Best / Jackie style of life.
