Strangely I think it would make it easier if he went to a ‘top side’ from a fan perspective. Yes we’re more likely to benefit from a sell on fee with Bournemouth but wouldn’t it be nice to see one of our own go on and succeed with the big boys? The lower prem teams aren’t that much of a step up in reality and we all know Alex could go all the way. 
 

Gets kinda boring being a feeder club for Bournemouth/Villa etc

Unfortunately the Mrs + dad are Sunderland fans so would be good to have an hour of freedom before the match 

How easy must it be for the opposition to plan for games against us? Same team & formation every bloody week. 

Anything less than 1.5/2m would be a joke. Look at Jordan Rhodes..

Maybe he's done this purposely for Lansdown to see, in the hope that he realises we need to do what's possible to keep hold of JET. 99.9% chance I'm wrong but here's hoping.
