  1. At the last minute i decided to jump on a plane.. i knew it, i just knew i would regret it. Well, apart from of course visiting family i ended up with a loss, which i half expected, and a parking ticket alongside dozens of other cars by County Gate,. I shall be writing to the council because there are no yellow lines and no clear way zone sign within 100 yards of where i was parked so they can stuff the ticket up their backsides.

As for the match.. agree with other threaders; why on earth take off JCR?... far more lively and effective than Adomah today who clearly is not fit enough to play 2 matches in 4 days. But of course who is these days, the poor poor lads that they are. He was more than OK at times but faded and should have gone off not JCR.

Also, why on earth were we at 451 at home and then chose to attack when we went 1 down?.... excuse me but that is just plain ignorant. Sorry Millie but you got that way off the mark today.

I thought City played alright and matched Brighton throughout the match with no discernible difference in quality. I cannot see them being top all season but then again it is an even league.

Today was an acid test in my opinion; to see if the 0-3 thrashing by Ipswich was only a blip. Had we won we would be on the front foot and been able to put an indifferent start down to slow beginnings. After all, of late we had gone 3 without loss in the league. In losing we have a much clearer picture of where we shall probably end up this season. Even though the game was decided on one goal and near the end is hardly the point. We lost, that is all the table will show and cares about and is all people will talk about. This is now beginning to look like yet another season full of putting out fires by Millen and Co and trying to get back on the front foot instead of what it should have been, one full of espoused optimism of a promotion push by the management; they are in absolute cloud cookoo land.

This is not about the players; we clearly matched Brighton across the park for most of the game. This is about a level of belief and a level of motivation and a level of confidence; we simply do NOT have it and for that , square in the face, Steve Lansdown should now be telling himself Millen does not have it; Those attributes, to be instilled into a team full of ability, are the difference between winning and losing. Poyet has it, Millen doesn't. What is there NOT to understand? It is plain as the brightness of an Ashton Gate afternoon on a very sunny September day.

Excellent post, but Albert played 13mins on Monday for Ghana, tiredness the game was played at Craven Cottage, London, no excuse for tiredness.

    Sorry
