  1. How dare you try and take our vote away.

I don't think there's a 'vote removal' in mind, more of a 'proportional representational' vote request, which is correct.

It could run into a problem if based on population size though, especially if China and India want to rule the roost.

  2. 'Meh' ... where the heck did 'Meh' come from anyway? makes me cringe... doncha just hate seeing 'Meh' used as some kinda rude dismissive in forum threads... OMG Yea, I gotcha Aiz see where you're coming from with 'Meh'... Let's all dismiss 'Meh' as a legitimate acceptable forum dismissive ...

OK Yah?.. everyone agreed?, splendid, OK moving on... Meh, no more thank you!

Ohh no, another one has just come to me, I'm not religious but I detest the expression - Jesus H Christ, its God awful where's the 'H' come from? Why? The only thing worse than hearing or reading Jesus H Christ is hearing some thick f*#ker say even that wrong by pronouncing it Jesus 'Haitch' Christ.... Arrggghhh OMG do I not like THAT!

Calm down dear! (I ******* hate that too!)

    'H' for 'holy'?

  3. Going back a bit.......1988 I think.........League Cup Q/F took 2,500 of which i was one........won 1-0 goalscorer could have been Alan Walsh, then went back to my overnight guesthouse for two or a few ....and heard we had Notts Forest in the semis next morning.........good times

I think we scored in the first ten minutes of the game, the lads in the second car of our group couldn't find a parking scace and turned up 15 mins late..... bugger! ;-)
  4. Mandela was a wise and well educated man who deserves praise for sticking to his principles and fighting for the freedom of his people.... and stopping the infighting once they had managed to topple the government at the time.

He was however a 'figurehead', there were tens, hundreds or maybe thousands of others risking their lives for the cause on a daily basis, both in the SA Government and the ANC, they did the work behind closed doors, in secret, they deserve massive praise for their achievement and the groundwork for Maldela to become who he was.

  5. Where's Millwall? We need to get this list updated asap!

    This one:-

From what little I've read on their site I think I'd rather read 'war & peace' from cover to cover!:disapointed2se:

Just seems to be full of bravado and 'lad-isms'.

Maybe I'm just reading the wrong bits but it certainly looks like they were at the back of the queue when manners, conversation...... and grey matter in general.... were being handed out!:tumbleweed:

Abuse makes you 'ard' you know! :dunno:
