Had my ST in the SS for about 4 years now, the seat next to me is also a ST holder but I’ve only met the guy once in those 4 years.

Just listened to the pod, as many have mentioned I think Ian needs a time out. His attitude stinks. His opinion over anyone else's.

When I’m on I try to get everyone to raise their hand if they want to interject. It’s now done so that we can see each other, so no reason for the interruptions…although Dave as host needs to at time to time. Previously we were blind to each other, so that made it harder, but no excuses now.
In all fairness you can hear Dave say they someone has their hand raised, I think it’s just in the heat of the moment all organisation goes out the window!

I listen to both pods.
FBC- an insightful listen with strong views which is why I think it’s popular. Sometimes very chaotic when someone wants to make a point. You just hear people talking over each other which gets on my gears. Ian can sometimes make good points however the pettiness of correcting others is frustrating. Overall with some structure the pod could go to the next level.
3 Peeps- very enjoyable listen, more factual and structured very well. They may have a link with the club but you have to respect what they do. They aren’t afraid to critique the club/players performance after a match and to be fair they are spot on about SL, JL etc.
I’m thankful for both pods but 3 Peeps imo is the slightly better one. Thank you for making the commute to work bearable!

Regular listener to the Pod. I enjoy the contrasting views but my god it’s frustrating when you don’t allow each other to talk sometimes. Not sure if I’m the only one who notices this.

I do question our fan base, what complete dross.
This was a time where we could really ask some “uncomfortable” questions. Instead the attendees wanted to blow smoke up the panels arses!

Max will cost us soon. Every game he misplaces or overplays the ball. Chooses the wrong moments. Sorry it frustrates me
I think Max saves us more points then he costs however his distribution is generally poor.

Thinking out loud, is there a conflict between sponsors if we were to roll out retro shirts? Perhaps the bigger clubs who do it well, Liverpool, West Ham, Tottenham I've seen mentioned, have better relationships and ability to front up the cost of getting those permissions etc.
If you were Huboo and you'd just spent half a million quid per season on getting your business on the shirts of Bristol City you'd probably be fairly miffed if half our fans spent £30 on one with Hireite, Blackthorn or DAS on the front.
I think these things are a bit more nuanced and complicated than simply "the fans would like this so do it". If you know what I mean? I think, considering Jon's obsession with retro kits over the last few years, the powers that be would like to do it, but it might not be either possible or financially viable. Let's not forget how bad our accounts are still... profit remains king until thats fixed, however distasteful that feels.
Never thought of it like that to be honest, great point.

Any particular shirt?
Ideally a shirt from the 90’s up to 2002 but the Nibor 1993 home shirt is probably the one I like the most!

Been on the hunt for a retro City top for a while but I’m seeing some on sites like eBay for silly money…. does anyone have one they are looking to sell? Ideally XL or XXL if possible.
Also brings me to think have City missed out on this? I went to see West Ham last season and when I looked in their shop, the retro range they had was incredible. I’m certain we would sell many things if we bothered to go with it!

I do wonder if they will challenge fans who aren’t happy to change?

Lansdown doesn’t want fans going abroad following us again after the events of 2015, when a portion of our fanbase had one too many… shall we say.
It’s a shame, there’ve been some good pre-season tours over the years.
What happened?

Sums up the life of being a Bristol City fan to be honest!
