I'm one of them, and there was a good response in the Lansdown.

I'm too young to have seen any of the AG8 play but I know what they did for the club and also what players like Chris meant to my Mum and Dad, and will always acknowledge that whenever tributes are held. Think that's the case for the majority of fans young and old.

  2. I've sat in the Lansdown since it opened and everyone around me was clapping during the tribute and the minute's applause. Slightly less so during the 9th minute but I think it's difficult when the game is on as your attention is also on what is happening on the pitch.

They way some say ‘it worked for me’ makes me laugh. It can read like if it didn’t work for you you’re the problem.

I see there was problems with Android and quite a few update/.releases have been made to the ticket sales portions.

Hopefully it will all get sorted!

I mean, respectfully if it didn't work for some people it may have been their problem? If you don't have NFC (the contactless technology) switched on then it won't work regardless of if you downloaded the ticket or not. Hopefully those people with that issue were helped to switch it on instead of just being let through as otherwise they will just have the same issue next time.

  4. I actually felt he was one of the only players to come out of the Holden season with any credit. Then last season he had a total mare, and it looked for all certainty that the writing was on the wall for Zak. Fair play to him this season, had an excellent pre-season and has deserved his place as an ever-present in our defence. Definitely the most consistent player in the team this season.

  5. I assume part of the reason HNM has been mentioned but not others is that he is probably being offered an increase on his current wages, whereas with Bents, Nahki and JD we are possibly negotiating lower wages on a longer deal as per Weimann?

  6. When you think about all the players we've signed who have done well elsewhere and been terrible at City, JET has to be the best example of a player who we got the absolute best years out of. His 2 seasons with us were far and away the best he has ever had in his career, and we didn't then keep him around for years afterwards on ridiculous wages when he wasn't playing well, or loaning him out to lower leagues.

I was surprised he went to Swindn for free. Always looked good for us & not far worse than Max. I understand he, or we, may not have wanted to keep him on as a #3, I just can't believe he didn't get a team higher up the pyramid.

Not sure how many of us can say how he was compared to Max seeing as Max has made 26 competitive appearances for us and JoJo didn't make a single one.

  8. We might miss his height in the box in terms of presence but I doubt he's ever going to score a header from a corner anyway. Agreed that he should definitely be taking them from now on.

Was saying on Saturday, with Barnett on the pitch it makes up for losing JET's presence in the box. His corner delivery is easily the best available.

  9. I agree they should have beaten us easily, the main part of his interview that wound me up was his comment about us having 9 men behind the ball for most of the game. The only reason this was at all the case was because WHU spent too much time passing the ball around their defence instead of attacking head on. This led to some very decent counter-attacking football from us
