Hes clearly not being offered one. Tinman would have dropped his name in along with conway and Williams at the weekend.

I remember a Portuguese striker. Must have been 19. We had him on a weird trial and he played a few games and scored away at Bury I think. Went to play for Portugal under 19s or whatever it was at a summer tournament that year, got player of the tournament and for whatever reason we didn't sign him and he didn't do a lot after. During the Wilson era I think. Cant remember his name at all

So we gave the pending European champions a load of bovril when we played them? Class that.

Make one out of the material that changes colour when you sweat that all the cool kids wore in the early 90s. We can then spot the slackers.

90s retro seems to be in vogue these days. The Thorne security kit with collar and popper button with the subtle dark red splashes on red was typical of the era and could look decent if done right.

2017/18 - first season I can see where there was no nodding, no tribute, no retro.
We had pin stripes 17/18 as a nod didn't we?

Helped by the fact that he started when he was still in nappies, and he was so big nobody dared drop him. Plus he could play every single position, sometimes all in the same game...
It's crazy he managed a testimonial with us and still managed a further 10 years as a pro thereafter

If Dykes can keep getting called up, there is surely hope for Tommy. Not exactly blessed with talent in that area of the pitch are they.
Forwards: Che Adams (Southampton), Lyndon Dykes (QPR), Lawrence Shankland (Hearts).
I'd take any of then 3 to be fair

Only 6 points above them as it stands in play. They will catch us way before we play them

I don’t have facebook, but, in a nutshell, what was being said?
Just some sad act sag kicking in a sign that's about 3ft tall on the side of the road with the camera man laughing. No idea what the sign says.
Another fine example of their supporter base

They were all expecting a flurry of fist pumps but got a telling off and then appeared to enjoy it. They are the oddest set of fans in the football league.

I see the football league World still believe that they are minted. Although they do concede they have no idea what the new guy is worth

Doobie doobie doo
All day long
Any ideas of the origins of this for us? I started attending late 80s as a wee nipper when it seemed to start but I was too young to know when and how it came about

A nice one on the Radcliffe road from memory, beginning with A, Amici Bar or something like that! Apparently a really nice family feel to it
Lovely table and chairs.

Anyone have any idea what he needs to do at Bournemouth to fulfill any add ons we might have? I'm guessing there's probably an appearance based add on at the very least

Ironic isn't it. I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that a protest by the Rovers board led to the regulations being changed. We were away at Stoke who ran a promotion meaning we were charged considerably more than their fans to sit in the same stand. The Dunfords and the rest of the board refused to take boardroom hospitality and sat in the away section.
I seem to remember we had issues with an away game at port Vale with similar circumstances that made the nationals when we kicked up a fuss.

It's no longer automatically the case that both clubs can't be at home at the same time. Haven't there been a couple of occasions now where it has happened?
Yes there have been recent incidents of playing the same night but on each occasion there wasn't expected sell outs or 4k from the away team coming down which would stretch police resources if we both play on same night

Anyone remember, or was it even mentioned, how benny was appointed? Any of our existing staff at the time have links with him or Swedish football?

Yeah, agreed, was just relaying what I saw. Maybe a typo that needs to be questioned
Definitely a type. If there had been contact there would be a big piece on it not only by Bristol Post but other sources, not just a paragraph when discussing the state of play as they see it.

I'm sure he was one that the recruitment team churned out and Johnson needed to be persuaded as he wasn't keen and then went with it as palmer wasn't looking likely at the time. Then once palmer got wrapped up he was in the team as effectively he was Johnsons signing

Totally agree and also possibly ILLEGAL......
I doubt it's illegal as they're gonna still be paying him for the remainder of his contract
