    Ha ha even better!???

You will have to forgive me but my historical knowledge of one of the most insignificant football league/non league clubs in the history of the Football League is a little lacking.

Can someone inform me what was the last stand they actually built?

Now Stonehenge is beginning to make sense!

Woke up this morning in a cold sweat. What can be wrong I asked myself? Flu, Mumps perhaps Ebola picked up from my recent holiday. Then I realised I read smaller than a fleas post last night, so I am putting it down to being horrified of the gas coming for us.

    Same here!

But mine was down to the Vindaloo and Haze.

    Gassss :gasmask:

Wagstaff would do very well for Rovers, then again I thought that John Akinde would do well for them.

And you would have been correct.

Agent A. did very well for them!

As I'm sure Agent W. will, when the bait has been taken.

and in doing so you brought the thread to the top of the forum.

staggering how many people who don't care feel the need to say to everyone else that they don't care. It's almost a Robbored complex. In fact I reckon this thread would be at least 3-4 pages shorter if the people who don't care or aren't interested hadn't felt the need to tell everyone else that they don't care or aren't interested.

Maybe the Sags that used to post quite frequently on here have finally cottoned on to that fact!

Ta quote Kodjiast Wrist yes I am still obsessed with Bristol Rover have been since the 70's, easy!!

As for getting "our Rovers back" that takes some explaining!

When we got relegated out of the football league it just felt like your Mrs who you love had been having it with your best mate from school. Felt sick for a couple of days. Anyhoo back to now we have a team who are performing on the pitch, last season the play off final was for me really poor but the last kick of the match was the best bit!!

Go back to 1975 we were a team in the old 2nd Division something to be proud of playing more prestigious teams, but as all things what goes up must come down, "generally." Getting our Rovers back for me refers to the "spirit" of the 89-90 season when we really went places and yes as a teenager watching us home and away all season we did great things. As a Bristolian I love my city and it made me really proud to be a small part of what could be, given that we had f*uk all resources. So yes I love this moment sharing it with my boy's as well.

    We have our Rovers back.............................

Awwww,  nearly brought a tear to my eye!

  6. Great achievement.

With regard to the defence, we are always going to concede goals being set up as we are - its a bit gung ho but seems to be working. Maybe a bit too gung ho at times and thats where a bit of experience comes in. When we are one up, we need to consolidate for a time rather than go all out for a second or sit back on the lead. That'll come with experience as the season goes on hopefully.

I accept the gung ho theory, but the worrying fact from last night is that both Bradfords equalisers came from set pieces.
