Any info on Meerholz? OS just says he's a midfielder in the U21s.
Not heard the name before I don't think.
He’s actually still an u18 (2nd year scholar). Can play centre-mid or CB but has played more at CM recently. Very calm, good on the ball and I reckon he’ll be the next one to be offered a pro deal.

2-1 up.
Churchley - not heard of him tbh.
2nd year scholar (u18), really nice kid and a leader. 1st goal by Yeboah - 1st Year scholar (u17). lots of u18’s in that squad and a fair few u17’s so a great result.

Was it Cotts who left gaps on the bench rather than giving youth players a taste of a first team match day?
Even if they were never going to get on, surely the experience would have been useful.
Cotts had no interest in the Academy and wanted it treated as a completely separate entity to the senior club. Probably the only real negative aspect of his tenure here.

Used to love the Junior Reds trips until I got kicked out for getting drunk at the Christmas Disco

I thought Heffernan was awful! He never once looked like he wanted the ball. He never battled, and this is a player considered third choice...he should of been working his ******** off to get tins to notice him tonight.....
Jesus, if you thought Heffer was awful , i'd hate to read what you thought
of the rest of the team!!! Heffer was one of the best on the pitch, he was
probably the pick of a bad bunch.

Yeah, fair play to the guys in the Williams. They made a constant
noise up there and hopefully a few more people will go and join 'em.
I think all the fans did the team proud today, most people were
positive despite the poor start we have had.

Acey has lost his way a little bit but is a decent player. Seen him a few times and he was deffo worth having a look at. A lot of talent around at the mo so may not quite make the grade. Tim Ap Sion is back on grass but still gaining strength so not fit yet. The few times I saw him before injury he was very impressive and absolute grease lightning! Looking forward to seeing how he progresses after such a long time out.
