  1. during the winter months Cop26 is all blah blah blah If games kicked off at 1pm,would not object to midday kick offs then their would no need to use the floodlights and the return car journeys would be in mostly safer daylight hours.
  2. Have you got any Videos/DVD's Or Any British Rail flyers promoting away day football specials?
  3. Of course not. Bristol City are one of the four teams in the championship that have the furthest to travel this season. I am a supporter of short distances for the planned FIVE away mid week games, and long distance match's to be played on Saturdays, WHEN the fixtures are FIRST published. PLEDGEBALL want Football followers to try and reduce their football carbon footprint. Nearly 3,000 City fans went to coventry fans attended the game against Coventry on Saturday I think approx ten coaches took fans to the game, correct me if I am wrong, and approx one hundred fans were on the first available Birmingham to Bristol train That equates to approx 2,500 City went by car, and if each car took two persons that 1,250 cars were used to attend the game. Maybe football train specials could be started again(FREE OF CHARGE) subject to all passengers buying their match day tickets in advance. See all you hoardes at Sheffield and Hull etc.
  4. If any one knows any Yate Town follower who can't attend the game can you let them know radio commentary is available on freeview channel 722 BBC somerset is available as far as Penzance using the freeview format Its in crystal clear MONO and their is no TWO MINUTE delay like their is if you listen to the game on the internet It comes with a totally biased commentary.
  5. Is he not due for re-election within the year? If so why not vote for who ever says, they will not implement the clean air zone in certain(non central) areas of the City
  6. Was a spin doctor at work for the match against Barnsley. Thinking to myself, I thought some one might have said why don't we employ a white witch to rid us of this home hoodo at the begining of the season. BUT, then said lets wait till they (Bristol City)play a very weak team and they held off till the Barnsley game When the spin doctor/s could have picked Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest If either of the two goalmouth (four shots scrambles) that Barnsley towards the end of the game had gone in,some ones credentials would have looked very different
  7. Don't think Bournemouth will be happy to see Quest highlights show at their ground this season after wednesdays home defeat
  8. and if your in the area North of Cheltenham, maybe even Gloucester with BBCWM radio station and is availble on a very biased commentary on Freeview
  9. This is on Talksport 2 at 00:00am Tuesday night Wednesday morning Just in time for all you hoardes returning from Birmingham with the three points Its a two hour interview, although I am not sure when it was recorded
  10. May I ask if any of your party are going to Birmingham?
  11. maxjak Know what you are saying about bettings odds, these would have been done on Thursday just gone so the betfred odds could be better or worse by now. Betfred is one of the few betting shops that prints a local "coupon"
  12. Suppose the severn beach line via Shire sea mills Clifton might see a dramatic up turn in passengers heading to Parson Street
  13. a very good read https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59031148
  14. further info on YOUR local BBC radio station on Friday morning before 10:00am Two Bristol City fans were interviewed approx 07:25am on friday morning
  15. Thomas Bramall I presume he could save petrol and travel on the team coach
  16. I presume the answer is no I bet if it was Caerphilly Town against Cwmbran Rangers Space and the money would have been secured. At least Yate town will have to put up with a totally biased radio commentary from the team from Norff Dorset( or is East Devon) on radio channel 722
