I think that is the first time in my 30 years plus I’ve ever heard a coach actively talking about digging in for a 0-0 as if it’s a good thing.
Utterly insipid, and I really cannot believe the gall and arrogance of the Lansdowns to get rid of Pearson and replace him with this sh1te-house.

It was a fortnight ago, and from what I heard his Q&A lasted a whole 15 minutes! Apparently agreed to go on the podcast Bears Beyond The Gate in the new year!
Of course he did, because based on current position the Bears are doing relatively well, so he’ll be able to swanny in and take credit for something.
Similar to how he runs BCFC, when there is credit to be had he’s front and centre. When the sh1t hits the fan, the ostrich routine appears.
I think a lot of City fans had been giving Lansdown the benefit of the doubt up until now because of the money he has pumped in, but the way the NP situation has been handled has pushed a lot of people into the “Lansdown out” camp.
Such a sad state of affairs. It could all have been so different if the bloke would put his ego to one side.

Outside the Brunel, I often wonder how much that must have cost.
It’s actually BR15 TDL, and is owned by one of the brothers who owns the bar.
BR15 TOL is on a taxi which can often be seen at Temple Meads.

Any advice?
I bought my ticket this morning, but my daughter's season ticket is under a different supporter I'd and when I go to the reserved ticket section in her account it is blank and not showing her ticket?
If I go to tickets, it shows her season ticket???
Lost, any help would be great
I had same issue this morning - phoned ticket office and was sorted over the phone, albeit after 45 mins on hold.

Quote from over there - He’s not wrong they are 2 completely different characters SL isn’t a fraud for a start.
‘But our situation is more complicated. Ashton is a dump, you could do what you want down there and no one will object, The Mem is a far more challenging site for lots of reasons. And landsdown is an individual happy to waste his money, whatever you think of the Al Qadis they are very different characters.’
Funny thing planning policy in that it doesn’t vary from one district of a City to another, unless you’re in a conservation area.
But let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good excuse though.

DC is throwing in the towel from that interview and wants out. If he was managing someone else I’d feel sorry for him, but he’s not so eff him.
I think he wants out but is waiting to be sacked to get the payout.

An acquaintance of mine who is fairly well known in and amongst the Robers hierarchy is of the opinion the rubbish about reducing capacity is a smoke screen for them to justify closing stands and therefore reducing their running costs.

Sometimes I feel sorry for them, in moments of weakness. Then I come to my senses....**** `em!
If it was the other way around, you would see their collective tumescence from the moon.
Second this.
Balls to their pathetic gyppo club and anyone associated with them.

I'm beginning to feel sorry for Wally, I think he got involved with the best intentions but from what I've heard he can front up as much as he wants he really has no say.
The eldest brother holds the purse strings, he pulled the plug on UWE because the revenue strings weren't good enough and has had enough and wants out.
Wally can go on the radio and TV and talk about the mem and safe standing as much as he wants, they won't be spending any more significant money on the sags.
Agree with most of this, save for the fact I never feel sorry for anyone who is in any way associated with "them."
They've been well and truly shafted by the Al Qaeda's, and the longer they stay in charge the worse it will get for them, and the longer it will take for them to recover.
Unfortunately for their fans they were too stupid to see it coming, and believed their own hype.
I don't want to see them go pop, because they do provide constant entertainment, I just want them to suffer, a lot.

ISurely this is LJ's Tinman moment.
Strange thing is I'd fancy Tinman's chances more than LJ's at the moment.

I'd have the dog fondler any time, in preference to Lansdown's sock puppet.
Agree with this - think DC is a level above LJ.

There is a lot to like about the Lansdowns on paper, but their biggest flaw is that they run the club like a total echo chamber.
The “board of directors” (if we even have one other than the Lansdown family!) is a hand-picked bunch of yes-people who have made it to their respective positions due to being willing to play along with the Merry Lansdown Tune.
There is nobody who in anything resembling a position of seniority who is willing to call “The Family” out when they are wrong, or challenge the status quo.
If you look at our past ownership structures we have had Directors / Investors (Keith Dawe, Scott Davidson, John Laycock, Ernie Arathoon, even Colin Sexstone) who had been successful in their own industries in their own rights, and would put the success of the club before self-interest and create a healthy level of challenge at board level.
What we have now is an echo chamber, where what Steve or Jon say goes, regardless of how ridiculous it is.
It’s an unhealthy environment, one that has run its course, and which needs to change to allow us to jump off the slow, boring treadmill we currently find ourselves on.
