  1. Meh, I've never been a fan of taking the ball to the corner to use up time. I mean, how many times have we seen a City player attempt to do so, and end up giving away a goal kick within seconds. I was actually willing him to turn towards goal, rather than make for the corner. He's the type of player that likes to attack and entertain, I don't think we should coach that out of him.
  2. Slightly updated the thread title as you may get more takers now it's just the two tickets available.
  3. They haven't averaged 10,000 for almost half a century, but yes of course they'd get 10,000 season ticket holders (let alone a total attendance of 10,000)
  4. Our training kit has come in many many non-red colours over the years. Why the issue with sky blue, but none of the previous colours?
  5. Fair enough, seems half season ticket prices for kids are the same as the full season ticket prices, so makes sense you still get a free shirt!
  6. Session 1 of F1's flagship event, lasted precisely 8 minutes, as the floor of Carlos Sainz's Ferrari was destroyed by a manhole cover coming loose. Not embarrassing at all...
  7. I know absolutely nothing about him, as I barely watch any Premier League football these days, but I'm going to guess from the overall reaction here that you've had an absolute nightmare with this one
  8. It can't be that difficult to just issue season passes, which get progressively cheaper as the season goes on, surely? The NFL, MLB etc manage this absolutely fine. Rocket science, it ain't.
  9. I see that Crewe beat Derby in the replay. Gives the 15ers a better (but still slim) chance of reaching the third round, and possibly achieving their dream of playing us competitively again.
  10. To be fair, he's still on his rookie deal. He'll rocket to the top next year!
  11. To be fair, even with his conspiracy theories, he'd probably still do a better job than the last holder of that post. *Yes, I'm aware that I'm now going to have to warn myself to not sidetrack threads with political posts...
  12. I didn't watch the game, but a bit of a worry to be seemingly dominated at home against a team who hadn't won a single point before today.
  13. Not sure why it's 'embarrassing'. I'm English, and if I was a footballer my first choice would obviously be to represent England. However, if that wasn't an option, I'd be delighted to honour my grandparents' memories by representing their country as I know how proud they'd be.
  14. As much as still wish NP was manager, and by default that means I don't approve of Manning's appointment, I don't think he "needs" anything really, as it would be very unfair on a new manager to come in and get judged on points only over such a short space of time.
  15. Different strokes for different folks. One person's entertaining, is another person's boring.

  17. Northern Ireland also play in a kit in a different colour to their flag, and also play the British national anthem before games.
  18. There's no white on Germany's flag. There's no blue on Italy's flag. There's no orange on the Netherlands flag. We've had blue on the kit in some shape or form for over 150 years, so I think it's safe to say it's staying.
  19. 100x better than the awful current shirt.
  20. Welcome to the Bristol City fans forum! We don't normally get AI bots around here, but we're always happy to have new members. To answer your question, we don't have any official restrictions on sign sizes in the away end. However, we do ask that fans keep their signs in good taste and that they don't block the view of other fans. So, as long as your sign is respectful and doesn't get in the way of anyone else, you should be fine. As for your request to meet up for a class of Strongbow Darkfruits before the game, I'm sure you'll find plenty of takers. We're a friendly bunch here, and we always love to welcome visiting fans. So, come on down to the ground on Saturday and enjoy the game. And be sure to keep an eye out for Ross McCrorie. Maybe he'll give you his shirt! Cheers, Bard* *Other AIs are available.
  21. You think? He sounded very confident, whereas JL always sounds absolutely petrified.
