    But nobody says they are huge or massive but yet, have similar honours. Which in my opinion what makes a club.

    Huddersfield won the league 3 times on the bounce in the 1920s. Preston and Bolton very successful in the era that Sunderland won those titles which was over a century ago.

    What? You said ‘big well supported club’ which meant to me they have big support, which they do. But honours wise? Nah.

    Because they have big cities like Manchester and Liverpool on their doorstep, and then you have the likes of Bolton, Burnley, Preston etc. Again the obsession of having more fans?

    Why are we obsessed with attendances and the size of a fan base? I didn’t say Sunderland aren’t a ‘big well supported club’.

    Yeah, we’re not big at all.

    Last honour won was in 1973… League titles in the 1800’s when there were about 10 clubs and played in parks.

    Well each to their own. You obviously see clubs size of how many fans turn up… I look at trophies.

    Yes of course. Just feel he needs to add a bit of edge to his game. Something TC has in abundance.

    It’s strange that I’ve never really heard of the lad until last week! Obviously there’s something there to secure a loan in League One. Hope he does well.

    Nope, I went to the SOL when we played there. Their ‘centre’ is like East Street in Bedminster.

    Without the media and threads like this slamming things down our throat, the usual stuff of saving usage of power at home, walk or run when I can, recycle etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.

    Well now that’s over. I wonder if we will hear of climate change again? Or I suppose when it hits 30 degrees again, whenever that maybe… It just looks selective to me all this. All forgotten about when it’s 21 degrees and overcast next week…
